Cupid?

Hello,

Have you ever heard of Johannes Vermeer?

He was a Dutch Baroque artist of the 17^th Century.
Many of his oil painting works still survive
today.

One of his very famous works is the
“Woman Reading A Letter At An Open Window”

The woman in the painting is not alone.
Someone had painted over Vermeer’s work, which was
discovered in 2018 and was restored to it’s original
form in 2021.

Exciting!

The hidden cupid, the original form of the painting has been restored.
