Hooray! Cherry Blossoms…
In Japan, cherry blossoms hold a very special place
in the country’s culture and traditions.
The coming of the cherry blossoms each year is though of
as a very special thing.
And the blooming of the trees is celebrated through the
tradition of “Hanami”–which literally means “flower viewing.”
Hanami–“Flower Viewing” can also be done walking along,
enjoying the Cherry Blossom trees, like this:
Cherry blossoms are the beautiful and delicate flowers of the
cherry blossom tree, also known as “Sakura” in Japan.
These flowers typically bloom in the springtime. They tend to
appear around late March to early May, depending on the
location and weather conditions.
Rain can ruin the beautiful cherry blossoms very quickly.
Bummer!
But…
When they are in “Full Bloom” they are beautiful!
