On the beach there were these birds,
many of them, flying around.

So many there was a warning sign about
them.

In the museum we went to—the one
I mentioned last week, and sho
wed
you the giant puppets—
upstairs there were
Tafuku–old traditional hand warmers.

In Japanese it is written as:

多福

They are open in the back, where you put in coal,
and burn it to produce heat and warm your hands.

And…

I don’t have old traditional hand warmers for you.
