For artists–or even healthy living…

Kaoru's Art World avocados

As an artist, I need to care for my joints.

Meaning…

I can’t have my hand cramping up when holding
a pen or brush.

I need my hands and their joints to be flexible,
strong and healthy.

One amazingly easy way to do
this is to eat avocados.

Yes.

Seriously.

Avocados can potentially benefit joint health
in several ways due to their unique nutritional
composition.

Meaning that avocados themselves may not
directly target joints, they contain various
nutrients that can support overall joint health
and reduce inflammation.

And more specifically….

1. Antioxidants:
Avocados are a good source of antioxidants
such as vitamin E, which can help protect
cells from oxidative stress and damage.
Oxidative stress is linked to inflammation
and joint degeneration, so consuming
antioxidant-rich foods like avocados may
provide some protective effects.

2. Healthy fats:
Avocados are rich in monounsaturated fats,
particularly oleic acid, which has been
associated with reduced inflammation in
the body. Chronic inflammation can
contribute to joint pain and damage, so
consuming healthy fats like those found in
avocados may help alleviate joint discomfort.

3. Vitamin C:
Avocados contain vitamin C, an
essential nutrient involved in
collagen synthesis. Collagen is a
crucial component of cartilage,
which cushions joints and promotes
their smooth movement. Consuming
vitamin C-rich foods, including
avocados, may support the production
and maintenance of healthy cartilage.

…and others.

But those 3 points alone are great reasons
to eat avocados for health joints and
healthy living.

Oh, and art too.
